New EGi functionality

For several months we have been running the new EGi as a separate beta website on the URL new.egi.co.uk. This has hopefully given you an opportunity to try new functionality and has enabled us to gain feedback and make changes with minimal disruption.

Later this week we will be completing the upgrade of EGi with all the new functionality being available on the URL www.egi.co.uk. This will include:

  • New Building Reports
Detailed building information from a single search available for office, retail, industrial and leisure sectors.

  • New Researched Availability
Find vacant space and investment opportunities across the UK using accurate, up-to-date availability data.

  • Enhanced Deals
Making it even easier to define your comparables report with fast filters and map-based searching.

  • Enhanced News
Providing fast access to property data from a news article.

You can watch video demonstrations and download tip sheets about the new functionality by visiting EGi help >>

Thank you for all your feedback through this transitional period. We have further exciting developments planned for EGi and the wider estatesgazette.com throughout 2012.

If you have any other questions, please contact client services where we have a team waiting to help:

estatesgazette.com new homepage

Last week we brought you a new EGi with plenty of new features and technology to match your business needs, this week we bring you a new estatesgazette.com homepage.

The new homepage has been designed to give users easier access to the entire range of estatesgazette.com products including news, data, blogs, availability and jobs.

A brand new addition is the integration of two new search boxes, users will be able to search for properties or property jobs directly from the estatesgazette.com homepage and will then be taken straight through to the relevant results.

The new design also ensures that users can quickly and clearly navigate to the content they need.

New Search. New Reports. New EGi

The estatesgazette.com evolution took a massive step forward with the re-launch of EGi - our premium news, data and legal service.

The new EGi incorporates the latest search technology, EGi Geo-Smart Technology; bringing users faster more accurate search results, innovative map-based searching, and Google Street-View integration. Other key changes include:

> New Building Reports - providing detailed information about a building from a single search including deals, availability, occupiers, ownership, planning, rateable values and building history.
> Enhanced Deals - with map-based searching and fast filters to quickly define your comparables report.
> Enhanced News - with powerful new keyword search and single click access from a news article to a Building Report.

The new site launched as a separate beta website following significant development and user testing. The old site will continue to remain in place to give users an opportunity to try the new site in their own time before we complete the transition.

As always we're keen to hear from our users so please feedback your thoughts about the new site as a comment or email client.services@estatesgazette.com.

The estatesgazette.com evolution will continue throughout the year as we bring more features and upgrades to EGi and the wider estatesgazette.com portfolio.
