Manchester Focus synopsis and a goodbye

It is with a tinge of sadness that I post up our Manchester Focus synopsis. Not because it's Manchester, far from it we love Manchester on the Focus desk and have had many a memorable night out after our Focus receptions there, but because it will be the first Manchester feature our North West editor David Quinn will not be working on.
 
David is leaving Estates Gazette on August 14 to become a student once again. Apart from a brief stint elsewhere (which we don't talk about except to mention Ken Dodd) he's been with the magazine for nearly nine years and we will be sorry to see him go.

Daniel Cunningham will be taking over the North West's news coverage so send all your press releases and tit bits through to him and I'll be looking after the features coverage. Some of you will already know Dan as he's written regularly on Manchester and Liverpool over the past four and a half years but he will be out and about in the North West as much as possible in the coming months.
