Full coverage will be in the EG Life pages on 18th September, but there are a few teaser pictures of last night’s action below.
Almost 150 people took part in what was a most enjoyable evening withsome lovely late-summer sun-shine to help the runners along. BritishOlympic sculler Alan Campbell startedthe race, which was won for the boys by JLL’s Alan Silvester (18 mins 3secs) and for the girls by JLL’s Florence Davey-Attlee (20 mins 12secs).
I would like to be able to say I finished soon after Alan and Florence, but I took the run at a more ’leisurely’ pace.
Most importantly, the event has so far raised £3,300 for Help the Hospices. If you would like to make a donation, please click here.
