It's second time lucky for Hammersmith. Last night Helical Bar's mixed use Kings Street regeneration got planning.
Despite 1,000 objections and 8,500 signatures on a petition the council approved plans. It will now feel like a hollow victory for protesters that managed to get both Helical Bar and the council to rethink plans last year - that took three, clearly well spent, years of consultation.
