UNESCO, the United Nations' cultural agency, has called on the Peel Group to revise its £5.5bn Liverpool Waters scheme in order to protect the city's World Heritage status.

Capital Shopping Centres has agreed terms to buy two development sites from Peel Group.
The group is buying a 31-acre site in Glasgow known as King George V Docks from Peel's Clydeport Properties for £4.7m. The site is adjacent to CSC's Braehead shopping centre and offers "significant opportunities" for development.

The supply of new industrial property stock in the West Midlands will run out next year, says CBRE.
According to its latest industrial sector figures for the region, with the present average annual take-up rate of 1.73m sq ft, there is only enough stock to sustain the market for another 18 months.

South East office take-up jumped 42% in the second half of 2011, contributing to full-year take up of 2.62m sq ft.
Thames Valley and M25 office take-up of 1.54m sq ft was recorded in the final six months of 2011; a 42% rise on the previous six months.
