Aberdeen tops regional serviced office charts but look who's in second place

Aberdeen has claimed the top spot as the most expensive place to set up a regional serviced office in the UK. The Scottish oil town's position at the top of the table will probably surprise few with it's booming market, but its nearest contender might.

Vying for the top spot is Reading. Yes, Reading, as in the one on the M4, is in second place. Research from Instant Offices, and seen here exclusively, shows that as of May this year buying a desk in the Thames Valley town will cost £340 (to be precise that's the average monthly workstation rate). That figure is up nearly 7% but it is far from the biggest rise in the Instant Offices data.  That crown goes to - yes you've guessed it - Aberdeen which saw a mammoth 12.4% rise in rates from this time last year.

Sadly, those slipping into the red outnumber those in the black. Belfast slipped by 15.5% closely follwoed by Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester but then look who added the most stock to the market in the same period. The full results are below.
