Video: Botanic House – Mills & Reeve move in

After seeing the bare bones of Botanic House, Cambridge while it was under construction, almost a year ago to the day, EG was lucky enough to get a look around Mills & Reeve’s new offices this week.

The lawyers moved in on Monday, but you would never have guessed it by the look of the office. If you’d like to see how they’ve managed the building’s sweeping curves (much maligned by some agents who felt whilst beautiful they were a waste of useable space) then have a look at the video above.

We’ve been tipping it for a while but it’s now official that developer Pace has bought KPMG’s old headquarters on Hills Road. The price was £2.2m. With work underway at Francis House (in the shadow of Botanic House) it wouldn’t be a huge leap of imagination that refurb work will start here soon too.

If you’d like to read more about Pace’s plans then go to this week’s East of England Focus either in the magazine, digital edition or enhanced iPad edition.
