About Dan

Thumbnail image for Daniel Cunningham 04 small.jpgWith over five years' experience at Estates Gazette under my belt, I've learned a fair bit about the UK's commercial property market and visited just about every town and city on which developers have tried to make their mark.

My job is twofold; I am Senior Writer with the Focus team, as well as EG's North West news reporter.

My Focus role requires travelling around the country to meet the developers, agents and public sector players which drive the property market in the regions, and then writing all about it when I'm back at HQ in London.

Although I cover most regions of the UK during the course of the year, my particular Focus patches are the North West and North East of England, as well as the South East heartlands of Surrey and Essex.

As North West news reporter, I also keep an eagle eye on events north of the Potteries, west of the Pennines and south of the Scottish borders, with a particular emphasis on Manchester and Liverpool.

As a native of St Helens, Merseyside, the job has taken me well and truly back to my roots.
