Members of the public which polled for the YouGov survey, commissioned by project consultancy Faithful & Gould, were asked to name their favourite man-made or natural landmarks. London sites dominated the top ten, with Big Ben claiming top spot, the London Eye coming third and the Houses of Parliament fourth. The Tower of London took eighth place, Buckingham Palace was voted ninth and Tower Bridge was tenth. A large commercial development pipeline is already in place in London, and new modern state of the art office blocks are poised to map the future skyline. Will we see developments like South banks Shard of Glass top this table in years to come?
