Elephant and Castle leisure centre site redevelopment

| 1 Comment | No TrackBacks

Land Lease last week submitted a planning application to the London borough of Southwark for the redevelopment of the Elephant and Castle Leisure centre site. The proposed tower, which will rise to 37 storeys, will provide 284 residential units, all of which will be private, 413 sq m gross office space and 809 sq m gross mixed use retail space. Lend Lease will provide partial funding for a new leisure centre and sports complex, located on the rear of the site in lieu of affordable housing. The site will also feature a 4 storey pavilion with a roof garden for residents. The full planning application can be viewed here
