Mole Man house sells for £370k above guide price

In June 2011 we blogged about the Hackney Mole Man, William Lyttle, who excavated 100 cubic meters of earth from underneath his home.

Well, the property (121 Mortimer Road, N1) went to auction 19 July (lot 11) with a guide price of £750,000. The site has planning permission for 1x4 bed house and 1x5 bed house.

The site sold for £1,120,000; £370,000 above guide price.
