Wild night out – the morning after

The Birmingham market turned out in force last night for Estates Gazette’s annual Birmingham Focus Reception.

Agents favourite, the Metro Bar, was packed to the rafters with the region’s finest, all keen to share their views of the market over a well-earned orange juice (!).

Needless to say EG heard all sorts of interesting tales by the end of the evening which were digested over a delicious and hearty curry at Asha’s curry house on the corner of Edmund Street later in the evening.

After which, a walk along Newhall Street resulted in an invitation by hardcore party animals Nurton Development’s Rupert Young and Antringham Development’s Tim Blairs who were ‘going on’ to another venue.

The duo were last seen climbing into a black cab and heading off down Newhall Street.

Sore heads this morning boys…?

Don’t forget to get in touch if you would like to take part in EG’s West Midlands Focus the synopsis is on the Focus blog and a podcast I recorded on the night can found by clicking here. In the meantime here is a sneak peek at some of the pictures – more coming soon.
