West Ham and Spurs' Olympic stadium battle is turning nasty

The battle over the future of the Olympic stadium is becoming nastier by the day.

Tottenham Hotspur said last week that they will continue to push for a judicial review over the decision to award the stadium to West Ham United, despite Judge Mr Justice Davis quashing their first attempt.

Now, West Ham has revealed today that they plan to sue Spurs and the Sunday Times over allegations of "secret" payments to a senior Olympic Park Legacy Company executive during the bidding process for the stadium.

One thing is for sure, this nasty legal business looks set to rumble on for quite some time.

And all the money being spent on lawyers might well have West Ham and Spurs fans wondering what will happen to transfer budgets over the Summer...

West Ham will not sue because of their link with a member of the olpc who was also working with them:-(. Allegedly:-).
Poor old Newham council will have to fork out a lot of money if West Ham do not get back up this season:-(
