Industrial REIT Brixton has said here it will "vigorously defend" an unfair dismissal claim brought by its former chief executive Tim Wheeler which Brixton claims has "no merit".
Estates Gazette revealed on Saturday that Wheeler was pursuing allegations of unfair dismissal, failure to provide a written statement of reasons for dismissal, and breach of contract, following his exit from Brixton in March.
An autumn date is likely to be set for the hearing at the tribunal.
Speaking of windy times of year, in another employment dispute, wind turbine company Vestas is off to court later today in an attempt to force workers staging a sit-in at its Isle of Wight factory to leave the building.
About 25 workers have been occupying the offices since 20 July when the firm announced plans to close the factory, with the loss of 625 jobs.
Vestas will apply to Newport County Court for a possession order to remove the workers from the site.

Vestas has already sacked 11 employees who it knows are occupying the factory.
The workers are not union members but trade unionists have joined the campaign to keep the factory open, as have environmentalists.
Bob Crow, general secretary of the RMT, condemned the sackings. He said: "This is a vindictive and aggressive move by a company that has been quite happy to accept millions of pounds in government grants and then dumped on its 625 staff when it suits them.
"Workers whose only crime has been to fight for their futures and their communities and to defend green jobs have been treated like dirt.
"The RMT will continue to back the workforce and the campaign is going from strength to strength. "We are determined to drag the government kicking and screaming into this row.
"The sacked and victimised Vestas' workers have the full support of the labour and environmental movements in a unique coalition."
BBC update here saying that the judge at Newport County Court ruled that removal papers had not been served in accordance with the rules so the case was adjourned until Tuesday.
