The heat of the divorce battle between property fixer Scot Young and his wife Michelle cooled slightly this morning, with the news that he no longer faces immediate jail for non-compliance with court orders.
The media pack was very much in evidence in Court 47 waiting in eager anticipation for the High Court Tip Staff to be called and for Mr Young to be led off to a six-month jail sentence for contempt of court.
But it was not to be, and by coughing up 14 cardboard boxes of information on Tuesday [after the deadline for disclosure had passed] and making further financial provision for his wife on Thursday the heady days of jail threats appears to have abated.

However, Mrs Young's lawyers are still concerned that Mr Young is not "playing ball" and making the "full and frank disclosure" required of him to avoid a jail sentence.
So, following discussion between the parties' lawyers, Young agreed that, pending a further hearing on 17 December, the threat of jail would remain hanging over him, his passport would remain impounded, and he would answer a questionnaire setting out alleged "deficiencies" in the information he has so far provided.
Young has also agreed that he will undergo a lengthy cross-examination by Mrs Young's lawyers on his financial position at a hearing in January.
He claims his £400m fortune has vanished and that he owes £28.6m, leaving him unable to provide a divorce settlement to his wife - the cross-examination should prove interesting.
