I am reliably informed that the top story so far this week on the website of that illustrious organ Estates Gazette is that of Cardiff surveyor Andrew Ferrier who allegedly offered to "kit out" his receptionist in Ann Summers sex shop garb.
Lizzy Bibby, 26, has accused Ferrier of sexual harassment and told an employment tribunal last week: "I was at my desk in the office and Mr Ferrier said he was going to take me to Ann Summers to 'kit me out'."
"On another occasion I was looking in the filing cabinet and he smacked me on the bottom as he walked past me.
"I told him not to do it and he replied: 'It's your fault for wearing tight trousers.'"
Miss Bibby was paid £9-an-hour as a receptionist from March 2008 until she resigned in April 2009.
Despite Ferrier describing her claims as "pure fantasy" and "malicious allegations with absolutely no substantiation", she won her case.
Tribunal chairman, Barry Clark said that "The account given by the claimant is more likely to be what happened in this case.
"We wouldn't describe Mr Ferrier as a man who conducted a campaign of sexual harassment.
"He didn't deliberately attempt to set-up a hostile environment, but his behaviour did have that effect on Miss Bibby. His actions could be regarded as arrogant," the Chairman said.
