People
Henderson Global Investors has hired Jamie Acheson as an asset manager for its European Outlet Mall Fund. He joins from Colliers International, and was the winner of the 2010
Young Property Professional of the Year Award in the EG Awards (020 7818 3394).

DTZ has appointed Catherine Vasseur as chief operating officer of its UK property management business (020 3296 3000).

Alison Priestley has joined planning and architectural specialists Nash Partnership as principal planner, providing planning expertise and advice on projects from domestic development to mixed-use schemes (01225 442424).

Scottish Retail Property Limited Partnership, a joint venture between Land Securities and British Land, has appointed Craig Stevenson as manager of its Bon Accord & St Nicholas shopping centre in Aberdeen. Stevenson previously worked for Debenhams (01224 647 470).

Jones Lang LaSalle has made a clutch of appointments at its shopping centre management team in Manchester. Tim Sellers and Julie Ireland have joined as property managers, while Jessica Padgett has been made a senior surveyor (0161 8286440).

Crofton has promoted Stuart Beardwell and Shaun Barkshire to associate directors. Both engineers have been with the company for more than 6 years (01732 850440).

Sarah Allsop has joined JHWalter’s planning team based in Lincoln. She joins from Leonard design architects (01522 504327).

Bristol based chartered surveyors Burston Cook has recruited Daniel Smith to the commercial property team (0117 934 9977).

Manchester-based chartered surveyor Brady has made Jon Lovelady a partner. He joined the firm in 2004 and specialises in retail and leisure (0161 839 1213).

Simon Williams has joined Hindwoods as director in the property management team in Blackheath. He joins from BTF Commercial, and was previously a partner with Glennys (020 8858 3377).

Aitchison Raffety’s London office has appointed Richard Viney as a senior commercial valuer (020 7518 3450), Will Hunting has joined the acquisition and agency team (020 7518 3452), Kevin White has been made head of the Landlord & Tenant department (020 7518 3453), while James Portugal will manage the commercial property management division (020 7518 3443).

Indigo Planning has promoted Sarah Williams (0161 836 6910) to associate in the Manchester office. It has also promoted Tom Darwall-Smith (020 7958 9002) to planner in the London West End office. He joined the firm in 2007.

Savills has expanded its valuation team with the appointment of Richard Booth. He has more than 11 years experience and previously worked for Jones Lang LaSalle (020 7409 8192).

Peter Cottle has joined Braemar Securities as business development manager. He previously worked for AEGON UK and has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, having also worked for Prudential and Friends Provident (0161 929 4969).

Matt Williams has joined building and project consultant Jones Hargreaves as a partner at its new Mayfair office. He joins from Malcolm Hollis (020 7692 7168).

Architects Holder Mathias has promoted Wilco Stekkinger to associate. He joined the firm in 2003 (029 2043 2931).

Chris Bulmer has been made a partner at the Richmond office of Michael Rogers (020 8332 7788).

Rapley’s has made John Lowry a partner in the corporate property services department in Huntingdon. He has over 20 years experience (0870 777 6292).

Chartered surveyor Shepherd has promoted Graeme McDonald and Jonathan Reid to partners (01382 878005).

Forsyth, the serviced office accommodation firm has promoted David Hall to managing director. He joined the firm in 2003 (0113 380 1600).
