People

Ben Lovell has been promoted to director at GVA Grimley in Bristol. He joined the firm in 1998 on a graduate programme, specialising in corporate recovery (0117 988 5319).

Farebrother has promoted Patrick Phillips to associate partner (020 7855 3549) and Jeff Norris to partner (020 7855 3593), while Rose Fisher has also been appointed a surveyor (020 7855 3569)

SGP Property has appointed Will Moss commercial agency manager. He joins from Huggins Edwards & Sharp (0116 201 2588)

Dixon Webb has made Tracy Russell and Richard Peters associates. Russell joined the firm in 1995 and managed the rating portfolio of MAG. Peters joined in 2004 and specialises in commercial agency, letting and selling (08453 577577).

The Bristol commercial property office of Knight Frank has promoted Fleur Ragan (0117 917 4533) to associate in the building consultancy division and Joanna Crofts (0117 917 4539) to associate in office agency.

Russell Taylor has joined UK Sotheby’s International Realty to launch a land and new homes division, focusing on prime central London. A former senior director at Savills and DTZ, he will be based at the HQ in Mayfair (020 7495 9580).

Knight Frank Investors has appointed Deborah Watt partner for business development. She has most recently been working in the European team but will concentrate on fund management business (020 7861 1678)

Cushman & Wakefield has made Tony Edwards and Simon Wild partners in its Southern retail agency team. They join from Jones Lang LaSalle Southern, having formerly been with Churston Heard ( 020 7935 5000).

Paul Phipps has joined Mill Residential Investment Management as head of property investment. He has more than 38 years’ experience and previously held posts at Taywood Homes and Taylor Woodrow (020 7930 8600)

Legal practice Norton Rose has made Chris Nicolle senior adviser to its real estate practice. He began his career as a solicitor at Freshfields but for the last two years has been head of Savills Capital Advisors (020 7283 6000).

Rail infrastructure services provider Colas Rail has promoted Christopher Harrison to head of property. He joined the firm in 2009 from Minerva (020 7593 5329).

Law firm SJ Berwin has promoted Darren Rogers to partner in its real estate team. He has advised companies such as British Land and Gazeley (020 7111 2222).

Holder Mathias Architects has promoted Natasha Chibireva to associate director. She joined the practice in 2003 and will now deal with the firm’s marketing and development strategies (020 7287 0735).

Nick Grantham has joined the Ark Design to focus on marketing solutions for commercial property (0113 256 8712).

Cadena Group, the parent company of retail fund manager Pradera, has appointed Lauren Smith a director in the equity raising team. She joins from AEW Europe (020 7422 6550).

Land Securities’ retail arm has appointed Victoria Broadhead portfolio manager for Princesshay, Exeter and Westgate Shopping Centre, Oxford. She joins from Knight Frank (020 7413 9000).

Following the appointment of Richard Sunderland as managing director in Leeds, CB Richard Ellis has added surveyors Chris Ward and Nick Marsden to the lease consultancy and rating division, while Jamie Gellert has been appointed to the valuation team and Michelle Lefton joins the office agency team (0113 233 7666).
