Charles Gardner has joined as a partner in the commercial division.  He has 23 years' experience in property investment, most recently head of office portfolio at The Crown Estate (01865 404459).

Bureau Veritas
Gerry Farrow has been appointed business development director for the industry division, based in Aberdeen (01224 892100).

Knight Frank
David Goatman has been appointed head of sustainability consultancy. He was previously principal of the Mouchel Group's carbon projects business and an adviser to London's Olympic Legacy directorate (020 7861 5109).

Innes England
Mike Thorne has been made associate director, based in Nottingham (0115 943 5970).

Fisher Hargreaves Proctor
Adam Wilson has been appointed associate partner in the Derby office (01332 224 854)

CALA Homes
Mike Naysmith has rejoined the firm as regional director for Grampian and Tayside. He returns after four years with Taylor Wimpey (01224 355700).

Gerald Eve
In London, hotels specialist Nick Barber joins to assist the leisure and investment teams; Catriona Campbell will head the retail lease consultancy team; and Miles Thompson joins to lead the building consultancy team (020 7493 3338). Elsewhere, Roger Littlewood joins the Leeds office (0113 218 2082).

GVA Grimley
Four new partners have been made in the national economic and social development team in Birmingham. Michael Lane and Jon Jones join as principal consultants, with Laura Kennedy as senior consultant and Simon Pearce as consultant (0870 900 8990).

Henry Bellfield has become a director. He joined the firm in 2005 (01562 731 300).

Matthew Tootell has been appointed investment director.  He joins from Peter Lund & Partners (0113 246 9994).

Christian Robb and Fiona Bellamy have been promoted to associates. Robb works in the planning and land department team (01943 885409), while Bellamy is based in the Leeds city centre office (0113 204 2240).

Mike Brown has been appointed associate director in the professional services department. He was previously with Lambert Smith Hampton (020 7493 8400).

Andrew Price has been made a partner. He joined as senior surveyor in 2008, working at the Lichfield office (01543 414300).

Peter Eustance has joined as head of valuation in Liverpool (0151 255 0755).

The international law firm has appointed Philip Olmer to its real estate group based in London. Partner Jimmy Theodorou joined earlier this month (020 3116 3000).
