GVA Grimley has appointed Iain Stewart-Bridges a surveyor, and Ruth Chaffer an assistant surveyor, with the building consultancy team at the Cardiff office (02920 248901)

Healthcare specialist Castlemead Care has employed Tim Shillito and Jonothan Croft to roll out nursing home developments throughout the UK (01978 669000).

Retail property consultant Tushingham Moore has appointed three new associate partners: Andrew McGuiness in agency, Chris Draper in professional, and Jonathan Philips in investment (0161 833 1197).

Indigo Planning has made six promotions across the firm, with Helen McManus becoming associate planner; Chris Key and Louise Bending senior planners; and Peter Dowling and Kelly Phillips planners. All are based at the Wimbledon office (020 8605 9400). And in Leeds, Sophie Lucas has been promoted to planner (0113 380 0270).

Asset manager Carlyle Group has made Benjamin Du Boulay a director in London, working with the asset management team across the UK portfolio. He joins from Invista Real Estate (020 7894 1200).

CB Richard Ellis (Scotland) has appointed Elaine Hughes director in the valuation team in Edinburgh. She joins from DTZ (0131 469 7666).

Bristol-based Hartnell Taylor Cook has promoted Daniel Brooks-Dowsett to associate director and appointed surveyors Robin Castle in building consultancy, and Jonathan Birtles, Mark Evans and Mark Kelly in property management. Caroline Cubbin joins as a trainee surveyor (0117 923 9234). At the London office, Nicholas Brandford joins as a property administrator (020 7788 3830).

DTZ Scotland has named Stuart Spalding investment director in its Glasgow office. He has more than 16 years’ experience in investment agency (0141 226 5241).

Jones Lang LaSalle has made Nick Foster lead director of the investor facilities management team in its property and asset management business. He joins from CB Richard Ellis (020 3147 1369).

Surrey-based Martin Campbell & Co has appointed Andy Shaw to establish an investment division, focusing on commercial acquisitions and disposals. He joins from Jones Lang LaSalle (020 8940 2266).

James Boatman Chartered Surveyors has promoted Miles Baker to associate partner in its asset management and investment advisory team (020 7409 0409).

Start-up

A former director and head of office agency at Lambert Smith Hampton in Birmingham, John Dillon has setup JP Dillon Commercial Property Consultants, a Worcestershire-based chartered surveyor (01527 872525 ).
