People

Carter Jonas has appointed David Bell as principal ecologist in the rural division. He has more than 30 years experience and will serve the company’s 30 offices in England and Wales (01939 210117).

CB Richard Ellis has appointed Philip Scott as head of planning for the regions. He brings with him more than 20 years’ experience and will be responsible for coordinating the firm’s planning teams across its regional offices (020 7182 2000).

Green & Partners, the London-based niche retail practice, has promoted Adam Bindman to associate partner. He joined the partnership in 2005 and specialises in town centre retail leasing and asset management (020 7659 4822).

Shelley Sandzer has appointed Camilla Topham as leasing negotiator in the agency team and Jonathan Isbitt as agency negotiator (020 7580 3366).

Andrew Anderson has been appointed by Carisbrooke Investments as development manager. He was formerly with CB Richard Ellis (020 7016 3213).

Martin Campbell & Co has appointed Andy Shaw to the investment division. He joins from Jones Lang Lasalle and will focus on commercial investment acquisition and disposals (020 8940 2266).

Stephen Anderson, partner at Huggins Edwards & Sharp, is now managing the firm’s Walton-on-Thames office, where commercial agent James Hewings is also now based (01932 246262).

Building and project consultancy Paragon has recruited Lindsay Acteson as senior quantity surveyor and Ben Stell and Mark Howarth as senior building surveyors, based in the firm’s London office (020 7125 0112).

EC Harris has appointed Jeff Collins as head of programme management. He has nearly 30 years’ experience and previously worked at VT Nuclear Services and British Nuclear Fuels (020 7812 2000).

St Bride’s Managers has appointed Dominic Hammond as associate. He will be responsible for expanding the fund management business into the US. Hammond was previously hedge fund manager at Corham Capital and Hogan Lovells (020 7078 1959).

Property Alliance Group has recruited John Clarke as director to lead its retail and leisure development opportunities in the North West. The former Tesco executive has more than 10 years experience in the foodstore sector (0161 868 4300).

GL Hearn has announced the appointment of Anne-Marie Kesselman as head of marketing. She joins from DTZ Holdings, where she was global marketing project leader (020 7851 4900).

Davis Coffer Lyons has strengthened its development and London estate leasing team with the appointment of Robin Foster as a surveyor. He previously worked for Edward Symmons and Sanderson Weatherall (020 7299 0700).

David French-Greenslade has joined construction consultancy Adeo as business development director (01403 821770).

Alder King has recruited two surveyors to the valuation and property management team serving the South West. Simon Phillips has been made an associate in the Bristol office (0117 317 1134) and Daniel Bale has joined the Gloucester office as a senior surveyor (01452 627137).

Haslams Chartered Surveyors has appointed Conrad Hill as managing partner. He is currently head of the valuation department and will work closely with senior partner Steven Smith to grow the company’s profile (0118 921 1524).

Architecture practice Woods Bagot has appointment architect Jonathan Clarke to its interior design consultancy practice. He previously worked for Aedas Architects (020 7637 6880).
