GL Hearn
Jonathan Hagger has been named chairman.  He replaces Richard Cobb, who steps down from the position after six years of growth. Hagger joins from Grosvenor Estate (020 7851 4900).

Drivers Jonas
The residential team has made two new appointments. Alix Nicoll (020 7896 8362) has been made senior surveyor, specialising in site valuation and development projects.  Pascal Levine (020 7896 8087) joins as an associate, providing affordable housing consultancy to private and public sector organisations.  Both join from King Sturge.

Creative parking solutions
Gareth Davies has been appointed director for business development to strengthen its offering to local government. Davies has more than 30 years experience in transportation planning in the private and public sectors (0870 919 8000).

John Rowan & Partners
Ian Blacker leads the newly created planning consultancy team. He was previously UK head of planning & sustainability at Cushman and Wakefield (020 8567 6995).

Rapleys
Mike Gibson has joined as a partner, and will head the planning team in Manchester. He joins from Taylor Young where he has been a director for six years (0870777 6292).

CB Richard Ellis
Alex Sharpe has joined the firm as associate director to manage the retail portfolio for the St Martin's Group. She was previously with Jones Lang LaSalle (0207 182 3687). Vince Shiels joins as operations director to lead the 250-strong site and regional facilities managers group. He previously held a similar position with Brixton's B-Serv (0161 233 5670).

Willis
Mark Landau has been made business development executive by the UK property investors division. Landau, based in London, will be responsible for developing new business relationships and will report to Ian Kennett, director of sales (0203 124 6204).

Scottish Resources Group
Steven Reid has been appointed as estates manager. He was previously management surveyor at the EDI Group in Edinburgh (01259 733800).

Urban Green
Michael P Churm has been chosen to lead the new Glasgow office on the city's Queen Street, providing surveying services in both residential and commercial sectors (0141 530 4678).

Smith Gore
Jane Jones Warner and Ambo Architects have joined forces with Architecture & Building Surveyors. They are based in the Petworth office (01798 345910).

Start Up
