People

Henry & James has added negotiator Edward Seth-Smith to its sales team in Belgravia, London. He joins from Faron Sutaria (020 7235 8861)

Jones Lang LaSalle has recruited senior planning consultants Federica Ambrosini (020 3147 1329), who was previously with Cluttons, and Caroline Harper (020 7852 4138),who joins from CB Richard Ellis.

The London Planning Practice has appointed Kathryn Thompson as senior planner and Nigel Dexter and Joe Haines as graduate planners (0207 5579990).

Grafton Advisors has appointed Claudia Kemp senior investment executive, following its new partnership with AION Global. She joins from DTZ (020 7518 8000).

Savills has appointed two directors to the planning team. Michael Davies (01216 348 436) has joined the Birmingham office and will focus on strategic development proposals and commercial development. Tim Gent (02920 368 914) has joined the Cardiff team as head of planning.

Simon Harvey has joined Citygrove Securities as development surveyor. He will be responsible for securing new development opportunities, occupier liaison, leasing and project implementation (020 7647 1700).

Rosemary White has been appointed as director of The GHM Consultancy Group. She has been with the group more than 20 years (01582 834233)

Drivers Jonas Deloitte has appointed Craig Leslie as senior surveyor in the national transactions team in Glasgow. He previously worked for DTZ and Cushman & Wakefield (0141 304 5277).

Jon Race will take over as managing director of MCM Architecture from the beginning of April. As part of MCM’s leadership team, he has worked on major projects for clients such as Pinsent Masons and Addleshaw Goddard (020 7902 0900).

Property consultant Bidwells has appointed.Marc Langdon (01603 763 939) head of new homes in the Norwich office and Jason Capel (01223 841 842) has joined the new homes team in Cambridge.

Caxtons has signed Ian Cousins to its professional services team. He will work from the Kent Thameside, Gravesend and Canterbury offices (01474 537733).

Environmental consultancy Environ has appointed David Scott as principal to head up its UK due diligence team in the Glasgow office (0141 548 8088).

MMX Retail has appointed Nick Stewart and Scott Mitchell as investment (020 3130 4650).

Carter Jonas has appointed David Mackenzie as head of residential sales in Bath. He has 12 years’ experience and joins from Savills. (01225 750900)

Retirement

John Cousins has retired from Fairview New Homes aged 78. The land buying director joined the firm in 1966.
