Surveyor Tom Storrar tom.storrar@edwardsymmons.com has been appointed to the valuation services team in Leeds. He joins from Sanderson Weatherall (0113 245 8454).

Jones Lang LaSalle
David Roper has joined as a director in the valuation advisory team in Manchester (0161 828 6440). Meanwhile, in London, Charles Tillett has joined as a director in the corporate solutions England team and, in the national offices tenant representation team, James Nicholson has been made a senior surveyor (020 7493 6040).

Martin Robeson Public Affairs
Phil Brogan has been made a partner, responsible for the planning and property communications practice. He previously worked for DLA Piper in global government relations and also with Camargue (020 7839 5403).

Steven McLaughlin has been made rural partner in the Oxford office. He will help build the firm’s services in rural finance, commercial mediation and rural professional services (01865 511444).

Steve Lee has been appointed managing director, based in the City office (020 7911 2821). GVA Grimley has also appointed Neil Lovell-Kennedy to its rights of light and party wall team, GVA Schatunowski Brooks, based in Manchester (0161 956 4068).

Harry Humble has joined as investment director and head of institutional relations. He joins from Standard Life (0131 228 3344).

European Risk Capital
Robert Baskeyfield Robert.Baskeyfield@EuropeanRiskCapital.com has joined as executive director in the real estate group. He was formally with KBC’s London Real Estate Group (020 7060 2983).

Valad Europe
The Pan-European real estate investment manager has appointed Arthur Tielens senior fund manager. He will divided his time between the European HQ in London and the regional office in Amsterdam (020 7659 6719).

Matthews & Goodman
Graham Cooke has joined the Manchester office, and will focus on the development of the valuation business. He was formerly with storeys:ssp (0161 214 4662).

DTZ
The Birmingham office has made several new appointments. Ruan Clemmitt joins as financial controller, Martin Hurley as financial process manager, Philip Reynolds and Asha Kumari as senior surveyors and Lisa Codling as surveyor, all in corporate real estate management . New surveyors include William Clarke in the portfolio asset management team and Paul Tarrant and Peter Carroll in the valuation team, with James Carney also joining as a surveyor. And Ned Jones has been appointed associate director to the investment team (0121 200 2050).

CB Richard Ellis
Alistair Urquhart has been appointed a surveyor in the business space team in Glasgow. He joins from James Barr (0141 204 7666).

The brownfield land specialists have named Lindsay Gray a development surveyor. She has 15 years’ experience in residential development and agency and will be responsible for acquiring sites throughout the country (01928 797900).
