People
Broadgate Estates
Steve Whyman has been appointed as the new managing director. He will take over executive responsibility at the beginning of April. He is a former executive director of Halfords and more recently founded his own risk management software business (020 7505 4000).
Braemar Estates
Ian Chatburn has been promoted to associate director. Since joining the firm in 2007, he has been responsible for significantly building the group's lettings division, which now includes more than 300 properties (0161 929 2301).
Savills
David Lambert has been appointed an associate to the commercial team in Norwich, to focus on the agency side of the business. Lambert joins from chartered surveyors Arnolds (01603 229229).
Harper Dennis Hobbs
The retail property consultancy has promoted Arian Ahmadian to associate director. He has been with the firm since 2005, and is part of the team responsible for retailer acquisition and disposal work throughout North America (020 7025 6900).
Edward Symmons
Heather-Ann Ross has joined as an associate in the corporate services division. Based in the West End office, she will work in the landlord and tenant team. Ross was previously an associate director at Churston Heard/JLL (020 7344 4500).
CB Richard Ellis
Lloyd Nicholson has joined the valuation team in Leeds as senior surveyor. Previously at Nottingham city council, he will be working on key client accounts such as Aviva and Threadneedle (0113 394 8804).
Stimpsons Eves
Martin Patchett has joined the agency department, heading the Bicester office and dealing with commercial space in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire (01869 369915).
Rapley
Andrew Cooper joins as an associate in corporate property services in the Huntingdon office. He previously worked as group estates manager for First Quench Retailing (0870 777 6292)

Former director of Savills industrial team Laura Sutton has joined the firm (07800 934348).
Cyril Sweett
David Young has been named head of the group's project management offer in the UK transport sector. A chartered quantity surveyor and civil engineer, Young joins from Capita Symonds (020 7061 9377).

Shaun Adams has been made development manager. Based in the London Office, he will be part of the team in charge of the South of England (0207 803 3615).

Nick Minkoff and Stephen Hughes have been appointed partners in its real estate division. Both were previously with SJ Berwin (0207440 7000).
Knight Frank Finance
Matthew Connor and Katja Mills have joined as mortgage team specialists in the London HQ. Connor joins from Cluttons while Mills ran her own consultancy (020 7268 2580).
